A collective Song-Writing experience produced in collaboration with Yamaha Music Europe. Alentejo, Portugal in August 2023.
Capturing the collaborative process of musicians from the first lyric towards an acoustic performance, we portray the creative journey along and shine light on personal backgrounds, musical interactions and approaches.
By understanding different creative perspectives, the documentary follows through the world of production into many aspects of musical practise. Producer Cameron Palmer supports with refining melodies, song layers and the choice of instruments.
The live performances illustrate how musical elements merge to form distinct songs. Through metaphorical lyrics and instrumental solo passages, we immerse ourselves in the musical outcome and come to realize that each compositional idea contributes to an overarching, shared message.
